Parallels For Mac Os X Mavericks: A Guide to Compatibility and Performance

I am trying to install mac os high sierra on my new mac running catalina using parallels. I am getting a message that Parallels does not support anything beyond Snow Leopard. Is that correct or am I doing something wrong.

Parallels For Mac Os X Mavericks

I can install Ubuntu 13.10 in parallels ok and then log in. Problem is Ubuntu does an update and I get black screen / desktop such that I can't see any app windows that I open. I've tried a few of the other suggestions and they don't work for me.

I installed Mavericks on the day of its release, and tolerated it for two weeks. I had so many crashing/Finder problems, also unable to shut down the computer properly. Having said that, even if mavericks had been stable on my machine,I would still have reverted to Mountain Lion, which I am using, because of the doing away of coloured labels and the inability to double click a folder to open in a new folder, with Mavericks. Also hate the way Spotlight in Mavericks uses tagging. 2ff7e9595c
